Ferndale is facing some big challenges as we grow and to meet those challenges, we need capable leaders on council. With years of professional work experience in community outreach, I have honed my skills of actively listening, advocating to support people and being a strong and persistent voice to accomplishing constructive goals through concise planning.
Good ideas are bigger than partisanship and personality conflicts, and that’s why my commitment to listening and outreach has earned me endorsements from nearly every councilmember who served this year, though our individual politics and perspectives differ, our commitment to this city does not.
I hear the people of Ferndale pleading to be fairly and accurately represented. I will listen and fight for your wants and needs. I will hold myself, the council and the city accountable to extreme responsibility with your money, first exhausting options for grants and other resources before reaching into the pocket of tax payers for those hard-earned dollars. Ferndale can thrive. With transparency and team-work we can do this together. With your vote, I would be honored to represent your voice and serve as your city councilmember.
