Why You Should Attend Tonight’s Council Meeting

City of FerndaleHere are items on the agenda for tonight’s City Council regular meeting:

  • PRESENTATION: Capital Improvement Programs
    Provide a basic overview for council of the utility capital projects included in the 2015 budget. No action is required on this presentation. If the council adopts the 2015 budget on December 15, it will be approving this capital program through adoption of the various utility fund budgets.Per the City’s Facebook page:
    “The council will get a presentation from new Public Works Director Chad Bedlington on the 2015 Capital Improvement Programs for streets, water, sewer and stormwater. The presentation will help the council and the community understand the figures that would be adopted in the 2015 budget. This includes more work on planning for the Thornton Street Railroad Overcrossing Project!”
  • PUBLIC HEARING: Preliminary 2015 Budget
    Download the preliminary 2015 budget and view related information from the City’s website.
  • CAPITAL PROJECT UPDATES
  • BUDGET DECISION CARDS: Remaining – Dump Truck; Replacement Trucks
  • MOTION: Organizational Grants
  • ORDINANCE: Fee Code Amendment – Pioneer Pavilion Rental Rates
    Per the City’s Facebook page:
    “The council will consider whether to adopt rental rates for the Pioneer Pavilion, which we hope to utilize as a community events space for both public events as well as private ones, like wedding receptions.”

 

The Ferndale City Council meets the 1st and 3rd Mondays (the Tuesday after if Monday is a holiday) at 6 pm in the City Hall Annex at 5694 Second Avenue.
