Bucks Good Burger & BBQ, located at 2054 Main Street, will be closed after tomorrow, Wednesday, November 21st, according to owner Matthew Trott.

Trott said today “Our last day will be tomorrow but we will still be doing catering through the end of the month.”

In November of 2012, Trott moved Good Burger from Bellingham to Ferndale and located the business at 5687 3rd Avenue in the Quonset hut building he purchased. A few months after the owners of a Dickey’s Barbecue Pit location closed their doors in October of 2016, Trott started Bucks BBQ in their former Main Street location. 6 months later, in June of 2017, Good Burger was merged with Bucks BBQ in the Main Street location.

Trott said there has been interest in buying the business and they are hoping to find a new owner to keep it running.

As to why he is closing the business, “Burnt out. Just time to turn the page,” Trott said in an email.

Trott says anyone with interest in taking over the business can contact him at bucksferndale@gmail.com.
