The vehicle was reported to be upside down in a ditch when the call was made to 9-1-1.
About 9:30am today, aid and law enforcement responded to the report of the single vehicle crash on Arnie Road near Bruce Road. When they arrived they found the passenger car upside down in a water-filled ditch alongside the road. The driver managed to get out and confirmed they were the only person in the car.
The driver was uninjured according to Washington State Patrol Trooper Heather Axtman.
Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office was investigating the crash. Details regarding the cause were unavailable at the time of this story.
