City grants available for health and economic projects

FERNDALE, Wash. — The City of Ferndale announced they are accepting applications for their annual Organizational Grant Program.

The Organizational Grant Program provides monies from the city’s general fund to select human services and economic development organizations that enhance the quality of life for homeless, low-income and senior residents and that promote economic development within the city.

Applications are being accepted up until August 22nd for grants to be awarded in 2020 according to city staff. Click here to download the application form and additional details.

  • Ferndale Senior Center: $8,000
  • Ferndale Food Bank: $10,000
  • Domestic Violence Commission: $5,000
  • Ferndale Community Service Coop: $3,000
  • Teen Court: $4,000

Applications are reviewed and final decisions regarding approval and funding amounts are made by the Ferndale City Council.
