Ferndale Community Coalition is conducting an annual Community Prevention and Wellness Initiative survey that officials say will be used in planning and implementation of strategies.
The voluntary and anonymous survey inquires about the community’s perceptions of substance abuse and mental health concerns, teen dating violence and sexual assault.
Coalition Coordinator and Whatcom County Health Department Prevention Coordinator Amy Hockenberry said, “We ask that anyone ages 18 and older and lives or works in Ferndale to complete this survey. The survey takes about 7-10 minutes to complete, and your feedback is important to us.”
The deadline to complete the survey is October 15th. Hockenberry urges clicking ‘done’ after completing the survey to ensure responses are included in the final tabulation. Results will be shared at an upcoming coalition meeting according to Hockenberry.
According to the City of Ferndale website, Ferndale Community Coalition is “a collaborative group dedicated to building and strengthening the capacity of the community with the goal to create safe and healthy environments where youth and families thrive.”
