County road work on Ferndale area roads scheduled

FERNDALE, Wash. β€” Whatcom County Public Works Maintenance and Operations has scheduled the following Ferndale area roads for pre-level work during the period Monday, July 8th through Friday, July 12th, between 6am and 8pm.

  • Mountain View Road
  • Elder Road
  • Olson Road
  • Ferndale Road

Drivers are advised to expect longs delays and to use alternate routes when possible.

County crews will first perform this pre-level work and later do chip seal work on these and other Ferndale area roads.

Roads scheduled for chip seal work later this summer are:

  • Barr Road (south of Unick to Douglas)
  • Brown Road
  • Church Road
  • South Douglas Road
  • Elder Road
  • Ferndale Road
  • Haxton Way
  • Imhof Road
  • Lake Terrell Road
  • Lampman Road
  • Mountain View Road
  • North Star Road
  • Olson Road
  • Rainbow Road
  • Storr Road
  • Thornton Road
  • Ulrich Road
  • Unick Road
  • Walltine Road (east of Lake Terrell Road)
  • Walltine Road (west of Elder Road)
