Many are watching the final championship World Series game huddled together at the Leader Block Building or online via their phones or computers as this story is being posted. And, come win or lose (spoiler alert: they won!), this team has put Ferndale on the map for many in the area.
As a result, fans will be lining Main Street to welcome the team back from Clemmons, North Carolina, Friday night, August 11th.
The team will make the drive home from SeaTac International Airport beginning about 6:30pm. Traffic in the Seattle area is the biggest variable as to when they will make it to Ferndale. So fans should plan to be on Main Street sometime between 8:15pm and 9:30pm to greet the team.
