Ferndale City Council agenda items explained

The following letter to members of the Ferndale City Council is provided courtesy of Ferndale City Administrator Jori Burnett. It is regarding the Ferndale City Council meeting agenda for the regular meeting scheduled for 5pm, Monday, May 18th (note the time change, past meetings have typically been held at 6pm).

This regular City Council meeting will be held using an online video conference format in conformance with current social distancing and the state’s “Stay Home, Stay Safe” mandates.

Anyone wanting to watch the online meeting live can click this link just prior to or during the meeting. Nothing needs to be installed since attendees can choose to “watch on the web” via their browser and “join” the video conference anonymously. Attendees’ video and audio inputs will be disabled to prevent meeting disruptions while attendees will still be able to view and hear the meeting participants.

With all the rain we have had this year why do we need to restrict water use.
We keep adding more mandatory restrictions it makes our great city not a very pleasant place to live in.
These restrictions keep growing every month and all proposed by people that don’t even live in this community.
    Enough is enough.
