Ferndale manufacturer strikes deal with New Balance

FERNDALE, Wash. — Boston Massachusetts-based global footwear maker New Balance announced they are joining forces with Ferndale-based insole specialty manufacturer Superfeet Worldwide, Inc. located at 1820 Scout Place to deliver customized 3D printed footwear for consumers.

According to a company press release, “Superfeet and New Balance are announcing Superfeet has secured the New Balance license agreement for insoles. Starting 2020, Superfeet will expand their insole offering to include New Balance insoles in North America and parts of Asia.”

The insoles will be custom-created featuring 3D-printed-caps manufactured on HP Jet Fusion printers and assembled into finished insoles at the Flowbuilt Manufacturing Facility, also located at Scout Place in Ferndale. Flowbuilt is a partnership of Superfeet, HP and RSscan International.
