First anniversary block party planned at WA’s first self-serve taproom

FERNDALE, Wash. — Downtime Taps, located at 1730 LaBounty Drive, Suite 11, will be celebrating their first anniversary Saturday, July 13th from 2pm to 10pm with food trucks, live music, games and giveaways.

Co-owners Tomas Aminnie and Chay Tan are planning a block party and will be roping off part of the parking lot to make room for everything.

Downtime Taps is the first Washington business to offer self-service beer and wine taps, something that until last year was not legal in Washington State.

Proceeds from the event will go towards supporting Summit to Sound Search & Rescue.
