President Donald Trump issued a proclamation ordering flags be flown at half-staff tomorrow, March 2nd, the day of Reverend Billy Graham’s interment, out of respect for memory of him.
Reverend Graham passed away on February 21st at the age of 99. Graham, a Christian evangelist whose worldwide crusades and role as adviser to US presidents over decades made him one of the most well known religious figure of his time. Graham’s body was brought to the Capitol Rotunda of the US Capital yesterday to lay in honor. Graham is the first American clergyman and the fourth private citizen to ever be honored in this way.
Private funeral services will be held tomorrow in Charlotte, North Carolina.
