Kevin the minion, which was reported about yesterday, remains missing but there have been a couple good Samaritans who have stepped forward in their own ways to help better the situation.

According to Roy Homan, who had set up the 11-foot tall minion “Kevin” inflatable outside his apartment, Kevin has yet to be located.

But someone did drop off a card addressed to “Kevin” with a gift inside and a message that read, “I know this isn’t much but I hope it’s the start to add to the Christmas cheer.”

“That really rocked me,” Homan said. “As a disabled Army Veteran, I’m so thankful to the community as a whole for their support and holiday cheer.”

Later, a Bellingham man showed up with two reindeer inflatables and a ten-foot snowman inflatable. Homan said it was unbelievable, not even just for the man’s generosity but due to the fact the man too said he was struggling this Christmas season as well.

Homan said he has a few other inflatables and he will bring them out Wednesday after 5pm so anyone, especially kids, can take their pictures with them. This will be done in the apartment parking lot just west of the Grant’s Burgers and Benson’s Grocery building on Main Street. The address is 5694 Eagle Parkway.

“We’re still hoping for Kevin’s safe return,” said Homan.
