The National Weather Service Seattle office has issued another Winter Weather Advisory. This one is in effect until 4am tomorrow.
The advisory expects 1 to 2 inches more snow before snow showers “taper off and end late tonight.”
This advisory specifically targets western Whatcom County and the San Juan Islands.
The chance for precipitation, frozen or not, falls to near zero between midnight and 6am according to Weather Underground BestForecast.
Tuesday’s forecast calls for a dry yet still cold and partly cloudy day with temperatures hovering only a few degrees above and below freezing. This is another big to change Wednesday afternoon as a warm and wet front is expected to take over and raise temperatures into the 40s and bring lots of rain through Friday.
