Washington State Governor Jay Inslee held a press conference yesterday announcing his concerns about recent reported increases in the number of people who tested positive with the COVID-19 illness.
… positive COVID-19-related cases and hospitalizations have been on a steady rise since early September; and, most alarmingly, from the latter part of October through the first two weeks of November, 2020, COVID-19 cases have doubled in Washington, and COVID-19-related hospitalizations have risen sharply, putting our people, our health system, and our economy in as dangerous a position as we faced in March 2020.
PROCLAMATION BY THE GOVERNOR – November 15, 2020
Inslee then issued a proclamation that will be in effect for at least 4 weeks, placing restrictions on retail businesses, restaurants and bars, and religious services, weddings and funerals.
The new restrictions on restaurants will take effect Wednesday, November 18th, at 12:01am. These restrictions are summarized as follows.

The remaining new restrictions take effect Monday, November 16th at 11:59pm. They include in-store retail, grocery stores and personal services allowing no more than the 25% of their occupancy inside and others as summarized as follows.

Bowling alleys, museums, zoos, aquariums, and movie theaters are to be closed.
Inslee also placed restrictions on private social gatherings as summarized below.

All K-12/higher education, child care and courts and court-related proceedings are exempt from these new restrictions.
