The Seattle Seahawks’ (12-4) first playoff game will be this Saturday, January 10th, with the kickoff scheduled for 5:15 p.m. PT. They will be taking on the Carolina Panthers (7-8-1), who just dispatched the Arizona Cardinals to earn the chance to face the Seahawks at Century Link Field.
The game will be broadcast locally on KCPQ-Fox, channel 13/113.
The best way to enjoy watching the Seahawks is with other great fans. Here are some local Ferndale locations where you can enjoy the company of your fellow 12th-Men as well deals on food and drink.
- Chihuahua Mexican Restaurant (all ages)
You say “football” here and you are probably talking about a field with netted goals at end instead of goal posts and end zones. But when the Seahawks play, it’s an entirely different story. The crowd gets rowdy in the large family-friendly section of the restaurant with the TVs.
Deals: Indulge in half-price Wings and/or Super Nachos and wash them down with $10 pitchers.
- Cedars Lounge (21+ only)
Head up the ramp past the restaurant to the large loft area and cheer on the Hawks with your neighbors in classic style.
Deals: Drinks & Shots specials ($6/$4) include the “Blue Hawk,” “Hawk Bomb” and “Beast Mode.” Appetizer deals include $4 – mini corndogs, chili fries, mac-n-cheese bites. $5 – potato skins, mozzarella sticks. $6 – sliders, nachos, gizzards.
- Main Street Bar & Grill (21+ only)
Don’t expect to park by the front door when the Seahawks are playing. Fortunately there’s plenty of free parking to be had within a block. Join your fellow 12th Man fans in getting loud during the game.
Deals: Throughout the game there will be door prize giveaways (described as Seahawk goodies) and Happy Hour food and drink specials.
- Dimitri’s Lounge (21+ only)
Enjoy a more intimate scene in this well-adorned lounge. Enjoy dining on everything from pizza to spanakopita as well taking advantage of their full bar serving everything from beer to cocktails.
- Outlaws Saloon (21+ only)
Get rowdy with your friends and neighbors with the Seahawks on the big screen.
Deals: Raffles and giveaways for cool stuff throughout the game.
- Mt Baker Lanes “Last Frame” Lounge (21+ only)
Another wonderfully intimate and timeless place to watch the game. You can even bowl a quick line during half-time. Ask the bartender for the day’s drink special.
- Maggie’s Pub (all ages)
No, that’s not a typo. Maggie’s Pub has something for all ages. In addition to 10 of the best microbrews rotating through their taps there are also great food items and non-alcoholic beverages. Enjoy the game on two big screen TVs along with deluxe grilled cheeses sandwiches, bratwurst, nachos, quesadillas and more.
Tell us in the comments if we missed any other places. We’ll be updating this with more information as we get closer to kickoff.
