Statement: I have lived and worked in Ferndale for nearly four decades. Over the years, I have seen our city deal with the challenges of a growing population. A balanced approach to business and residential growth is most important along with sensible environmental practices. I consider myself a team builder, working together with parties that represent different interests, with the goal of achieving consensus among all entities involved. I am fiscal conservative and believe in a common-sense approach to government. I believe that honesty, integrity and understanding are paramount in effectively serving others.
In the coming years, we will continue to grapple with such issues as growth, infrastructure development, traffic management, water and sewer needs. I promise to listen to your concerns and ideas with an open mind, while at the same time willing to make tough decisions, always keeping in mind what is best for our community. I look forward to working for you, along with other city officials, office staff, committee members and other agencies. Together, we will continue to make Ferndale a great place to live, work and raise a family.
