Here’s what’s open and closed on Friday, July 3rd

FERNDALE, Wash. — While many Ferndale area retailers, restaurants and gas stations can be expected to be open and/or providing services, the following will be closed or not in service Friday, July 3rd, in observance of Independence Day, a federal holiday:

  • City of Ferndale offices (already closed due to COVID-19)
  • Ferndale School District and schools (already closed due to summer and COVID-19)
  • Ferndale Public Library (already with limited services due to COVID-19)
  • Ferndale Senior Activity Center (already closed due to COVID-19)
  • Ferndale Chamber of Commerce (already closed due to COVID-19)
  • Ferndale Visitor Information Center (already closed due to COVID-19)

And the following will be closed or not in service on Saturday, July 4th, Independence Day.

  • Whatcom Transit Authority (WTA)
  • Post Office (with no mail delivery)
  • Most banks and credit unions (lobbies already closed due to COVID-19)
  • Ferndale Food Bank
  • Ferndale Laundry
