High Wind Advisory issued

The Ferndale area saw a similar wind event come through the area early yesterday.

The National Weather Service (NWS) Seattle office issued a High Wind Advisory this morning. The advisory warns of the potential for gusts up to 45mph from midday today, Sunday, through midnight tonight.

According to the advisory, winds will gradually increase through the morning
before reaching advisory speeds this afternoon after 1pm. Sustained winds of 20 to 30mph with gusts to 45mph are expected. Winds will be southeast before turning south to southwest this evening.

The Ferndale area saw a similar wind event come through the area early yesterday between 5am and 9am. A gust of 45mph was recorded during that time. No outages or damages related to that wind event were reported.
