It’s been over a half-hour since the initial collision southbound and the backup northbound continues to get longer, now stretching to the Samish Way interchange. Avoid getting on I-5 northbound between Sunset Avenue and Samish Way if you can. Southbound is no better from Bakerview Road to Sunset Avenue.

As of 4:50pm today, November 23rd, a multiple car accident by the Sunset Avenue interchange has northbound traffic backed up to Lakeway Drive.
Report is of accidents in both the southbound and northbound lanes in the same area.
Both lanes of I-5 northbound are open but moving slowly through the area. Indications are traffic north of the incident is moving normally.
