Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) officials say the northbound and southbound I-5 Custer rest areas will be closed today, Friday, July 27th, through Saturday, July 28th.
Beginning at 8am today, both rest areas will be closed “for water system work” according to an announcement.
The closure is expected to continue through 4pm tomorrow.
The nearest alternate rest areas are located at Bow Hill, approximately 30 miles to the south.
