“Lessons from Stroke Survivors” free online class available Tuesday

Louise Jenkins, manager of PeaceHealth’s certified stroke center and telestroke at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver, Washington will be explaining how to prevent and recognize a stroke during a free online class (aka webinar) that can be attended via computer, tablet or smartphone.

Jenkins and a guest will share an insider’s view of what it’s like to recover from a stroke during the online class entitled, “Making a Comeback: Five Surprising Lessons from Stroke Survivors,” Tuesday, May 22nd, from noon to 1pm. The class is being produced by PeaceHealth to promote awareness of stroke during National Stroke Month.
