I am pleased to endorse Greg Hansen for Ferndale Mayor. I probably know Greg better than anyone and I am proud to say he is my son.

Greg is uniquely qualified for this position because he has the kind of management skills Ferndale needs.  Greg started at Semi-ah-moo as a busser and waiter and in over 20 years he worked himself up to Director of Restaurants where he managed over 60 people.  After leaving Semi-ah-moo, Greg took a position at Whatcom Community College teaching Hospitality and Tourism Management and Business Administration.  He currently oversees the Hospitality program at Whatcom.

Greg has lived in Ferndale for over 50 years.  He attended schools in Ferndale and graduated from Ferndale High School.  Greg’s daughter Katherine attends Ferndale High School and son Andrew graduated from Ferndale-Windward and currently attends Whatcom Community College.  His wife Raquel is employed locally at Sampson Rope.

Greg currently holds position 2 on the Ferndale City Council and during his term we have held many discussions regarding the issues facing Ferndale.  Greg knows the problems and he has the insight and skills to make Ferndale a better place to live.

I am confident that Greg is the candidate that will lead Ferndale in a positive direction for the future of Ferndale.  Please Join me in voting for Greg Hansen for Mayor of Ferndale.
