LTTE: Funding schools is an important part of any community’s economic vitality

Published [post_published]

Our mission is clear: the business and purpose of the Ferndale Chamber of Commerce is to be the unifying force where community and economic vitality connect, creating the best place to live, work and do business.

Together, our members are the “change agents” in this community. We focus our efforts on encouraging the use of local resources in ways that enhance economic opportunities and contribute to the improvement of social conditions in a sustainable way…making Ferndale the best place to live, work and do business.

Funding schools is an important part of any community’s economic vitality. Great communities have great schools and this community’s future prosperity depends on a robust and vibrant public-school system. The education of our youth provides hope and opportunity for the future, a future that lives here in Ferndale.

The Chamber of Commerce has always advocated for education and students; and this is evident through our commitment to the Ferndale Futures Program, a collaboration with the Ferndale School District. Dedicated to providing connection between students and local companies, our aim is to strengthen and bolster the future workforce of Ferndale business and industry.
