Officials estimate service will resume shortly after noon today.

Whatcom County Ferry officials have discontinued runs between Lummi Island and Gooseberry Point at 9:40am.
Officials point to a hydraulic failure at the Lummi Island dock as the reason for the temporary service interruption.
No estimate for when service will be resumed has been given.
