Members of the Whatcom County Association of Realtors (WCAR) are hosting presentations focused on private property rights this week at the Pioneer Pavilion Community Center.
A different topic will be covered each night from 7pm to 8:30pm. Topics scheduled are
* Monday: Introduction to water law (Hirst decision)
* Tuesday: Balancing property development and environmental protections
* Wednesday: Bureaucracy, regulation and public participation
* Thursday: Panel discussion – Future of private property rights in Whatcom County
According to WCAR, the presentations are free and open to the public. Doors open at 6:30pm each night.
I know this is free to the public but what did the city charge this group to use the community center ?
