8am: Good morning. Temperatures are in the mid 40s around the Ferndale area under partly cloudy skies with a breeze from the southeast. Air quality is being reported in the GOOD range.

In contrast to yesterday’s sunny balmy weather, today could see up to one inch of rainfall. Nearly 1/2″ has fallen already since midnight.

Yesterday’s high temperature of 69° matched the record set at the Bellingham International Airport in 1949. Today is expected to be about 10° cooler.
