Ferndale Schools announce schedule change today (Thurs) due to weather

Ferndale School District officials announced this morning that all Ferndale schools will begin 2 hours later than their regular start times today, Thursday, March 7th.

Buses will be running two hours late on their regular routes.

In addition, morning and before-school activities are canceled. In addition, morning and afternoon sessions of preschool are canceled. There is no developmental preschool (am or pm) on early release, half days, or delayed start days. Jump Start Kindergarten will also be on a 2-hour delay.

Officials cited icy patches on roads and in school parking lots throughout the district as the reason for the schedule change.
