Update: Found – Silver Alert issued for missing Bellingham man

He was located by Bellingham Police and is safe.

Bellingham Police are looking for a missing person who was last seen at 1200 Dupont Street in Bellingham.

Charles Atkinson, age 76, did not arrive to pickup his spouse from an appointment today. He was last heard from about 1pm today. He has been having memory problems for about a year and memory loss has been getting worse.

He was last seen wearing a Seahawks sweatshirt and black sweatpants. He is 5 foot 7 inches tall and weighs 185 pounds and has white hair (mostly bald), blue eyes and wears glasses.

He may be driving a gold 2000 Infiniti G20 with a Washington license plate ADD7140.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of this person is asked to contact the Bellingham Police Department at (360) 778-8767 or call 911.
