FERNDALE, Wash. — As previously reported, Ferndale City Council members have yet had the opportunity to discuss the draft 2021 City budget released in October. But they will soon according to a recent announcement.
Last week, City staff announced a special meeting of the council is scheduled for 5pm Monday, November 30th. While no agenda has been published, according to the announcement, the special meeting is “for the purpose of discussing the [draft] 2021 budget.”
In past years, regular council meetings in November have been used by council to discuss and on occasion debate the merits of specific items in the draft budget.
