Star Park contributors list is lengthy with more needed

star park graphicThe list of businesses and individuals who have made commitments to support the upcoming Star Park volunteer build effort is long and continues to grow.

From the beginning, Star Park, a playground to be located adjacent to Pioneer Park, was seen as an opportunity for the community to join together to make it a reality.

Over the last few months, after a date to actually build the park was set, the call for volunteers and donations of materials and supplies has grown louder. Below is the current list of businesses and organizations provided by city staff of those who have responded to that call (in no particular order):

While the list of those who have already made the commitment is long, there is still need for groups and individual volunteer workers to signup for shifts and supply/materials suppliers to schedule donations. The build is scheduled for six days from May 31st to June 5th.
