Temporary 4-way stop at Kickerville & Grandview Roads to stay until …

Washington State Department of Transportation temporarily implemented a 4-way stop at the intersection of Kickerville Road and Grandview Road (SR548) back in May while that intersection was part of the truck detour around the Jordan Creek project on Slater Road for most of this year.

But now officials are saying the additional two stop signs will remain in place until completion of a roundabout at that intersection.

Current plans are for WSDOT contractor crews to begin construction of the roundabout in the spring of 2018 with completion estimated to happen in the fall.

Once the project begins, according to WSDOT, “travelers should expect lane closures and delays during construction of this roundabout. Most work can happen during any type of weather so once construction begins, the work should move quickly.”

This is my road and the stop signs are working just fine the fact that the county is condemning neighboring barns so they can put on a round about is BS…I have lived near that corner for 6 yrs and no accidents one block down however on Bay and Kickerville there have been 8 accidents and there isn’t even a four way stop there …what is up with that
