Ferndale Cub Scout Pack 4026 officials announced they will be hosting 2 recruiting events this year as part of their “Scout Me In” campaign. Girls and boys in kindergarten through 5th grade are eligible to join Cub Scouts.

A Recyclable Rain Gutter Regatta will be held at 6pm, August 27th, at Good News Fellowship, located at 1252 W Axton Road and a Bike Rodeo will be held at 6pm, September 10th, at the BMX track next to the American Legion Hall on 2nd Avenue.

In preparation for the Regatta, participants will make boats out of recycled materials and then race them in a water-filled rain gutter. Racers can help move their boat move forward only by blowing through a straw.
