Initial results of local and state initiatives, measures and positions as reported as of 5:10pm, November 7th, are as follows.

LOCAL

Ferndale School District 502, Proposition 2018-7 ($112M Capital Projects Bond)

  • APPROVE – 8,565 (58.12%) *requires 60% approval to pass
  • REJECT – 6,172 (41.88%)

STATE

Initiative Measure Number 1631 (concerns pollution)

  • YES – 934,731 (43.73%)
  • NO – 1,202,679 (56.27%)

Initiative Measure Number 1634 (taxation of certain items intended for human consumption)

  • YES – 1,166,264 (54.82%)
  • NO – 961,243 (45.18%)

  • YES – 1,295,935 (60.34%)
  • NO – 851,644 (39.66%)

Initiative to the Legislature 940 (concerns law enforcement)

Advisory Vote Number 19 (increase of oil spill response and administrative taxes)
