A City of Ferndale project to replace a sewer line began this morning, April 27, on Sterling Avenue. City staff confirmed there will be some water service interruptions during the project. “The City distributed notices on Friday to inform those customers who are affected on Sterling Avenue and Washington Street.” Water service interruptions should not continue beyond today according to Stremler Gravel workers at the project site.
The project has currently reduced Washington Street to one lane at Sterling Avenue and Sterling Avenue is open only to local traffic. But as the project progresses over the next two week work will progress south on Sterling Avenue and not impede Washington Street traffic.
According to the City, “Stremler Gravel, Inc. will be completing the project over the next few weeks.”
