Wicked Weather Forecast for This Week

It’s been a long time since the National Weather Service (NWS) has had this many active advisories and watches at one time. Three separate storms will be rolling through over the next few days bringing with them high winds and a lot of rainfall.

This afternoon will be the calm before the storms with less of a tenth of an inch of rain expected and no significant wind gusts. Tonight expects a half to three quarters of an inch of rain possible. Rainfall Tuesday before 5pm is expected to be another a half and three quarters of an inch with gusts around 36 mph. After 11pm Tuesday, a weaker storm will hit bringing with it a tenth to quarter of an inch of rain and no significant winds. But then Wednesday brings a new storm, this time the forecast is for between three quarters and one inch of rainfall possible with gusts around 36 mph before 11pm.

The good news is the predominantly southern winds that will come with these disturbances will bring unseasonably warm temperatures with highs in mid-fifties and lows in the upper-forties.
