WSP: Pick-up truck or SUV sought in fatal hit and run

A Ferndale man identified by the Washington State Patrol (WSP) as Daniel Holcomb was struck and killed by a vehicle this morning about 3am this morning, Thursday, December 20th, as he walked along the westbound shoulder of Grandview Road near I-5. The vehicle that struck Holcomb then fled the scene.

WSP detectives said today they believe the suspect vehicle is a pick-up truck or SUV with damage to the right front portion as well as a damaged bug shield.

Washington State Patrol detectives are asking any witnesses or others who may have information pertaining to this collision to contact Detective Charles Sletten via phone at (360) 654-1144 or by email to charles.sletten@wsp.wa.gov.
